Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography services provided by Hannah Batt.

1. Booking & Payment

All bookings are confirmed once agreed in writing (email or contract). Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking and must be met in full. Hannah Batt reserves the right to withhold image delivery until payment has been received.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made as soon as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on notice given and work already undertaken. Hannah Batt reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond her control.

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All photographs remain the copyright of Hannah Batt in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Clients are granted a licence to use the images as agreed at the time of booking. Images may not be sold, sublicensed, altered, or supplied to third parties without written permission unless explicitly agreed.

4. Commercial & Company Use

For companies and organisations, images may be used for websites, social media, marketing materials, and campaigns as outlined in the agreed licence. Any additional usage outside this scope may require an additional licence and fee.

5. Students & Educational Photography

Where students are photographed, images may be used for personal, educational, or institutional purposes as agreed. Where the subject is under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian prior to the shoot.

6. Model Release & Promotional Use

Where applicable, clients may be asked to sign a model release allowing Hannah Batt to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes. Consent can be withdrawn in writing at any time for future use.

7. Image Delivery & Editing

Final edited images will be delivered digitally within the agreed timeframe. Hannah Batt’s editing style is part of her service, and unedited or RAW files are not supplied.

8. Liability

All reasonable care will be taken during the photoshoot. Hannah Batt shall not be liable for loss, damage, or failure to deliver images due to circumstances beyond her control, including but not limited to weather, venue restrictions, equipment failure, or client delays.

9. Data Protection (UK GDPR)

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information will be used solely for communication, booking management, and image delivery, and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
